How We Work

Our advice service is face to face, inclusive and community-focused. We provide one-to-one guidance, community outreach and support in community languages, and work with local organisations to connect people with the help they need.

People can approach the service directly, and we also receive referrals from community members, local groups and councillors.

Impact

The service supports people through changes in income, bereavement, caring responsibilities, disability and other circumstances that can make welfare systems difficult to navigate. Supplied case studies show support with Universal Credit, Council Tax Support, Attendance Allowance, Housing Benefit, Blue Badge applications and digital inclusion.
